Fred - This is a contest put out by Void Magazine - I had the same response to them and they said the same - you get 12 words for the story, and the "13" is considered the unlimeted number of words you can use in the title. You can click on the link in my comment above to read about the contest - there will be prizes and the winners will get published in Void magazine.

Hey Carl - I thought that Moya had said up to fifty words - but I just went to look and see that it does say no more or no less than fifty words, so I will go through and remove them from the fiftyworders group. It was a misconception on my part. Thanks for pointing that out.
