Nancy.. Each article in this group represents a category. Open the article, and you will see a listing of groups that fit under that category. Perhaps I will add a hyperlink to each category from within this article to make it easier to use...

Cindy, you must be a member of the group to be able to view contents within the group. That should resolve the problem you are experiencing.

Also, to answer your first question, ..yes, tags were used to determine categories, as well as the group title and descriptions.

Cindy, I wouldn't worry about the tags here... as long as the group is showing up in the right category, and the link to the group works. Then others will be able to find your group more easily. If you change the category, or name of your group, then let me know.

Kat, I started writing a small program in C#, but switched to VisualBasic as it can interface with text, or flat files, much better.

Nancy, there is currently a problem (evidently) with the Gather search mechanism. Hence, I have not been able to provide you with a better way of getting to this index. I will keep you updated here. Thanks!

I gave this up because it was a LOT of work, and Gather was near to implementing a new Gather Group search feature which would supposedly make this obsolete.

Unfortunately, 'Gather Groups 2.0' (as Gather referred to it) didn't quite live up to the hype.

Yay yay yay for this list.

What's up with "gay and altenative lifestyles" though? It's not like you included actual "alternative lifestyles" (i.e., polyamory, but it's a phrase that annoys me anyway) in that section, so why not just call it GLBT or some variation there of? Who I love isn't a lifestyle. It's just a life.
