Last summer was the first summer I lived on my own. I moved into an apartment with two friends, Nathan and Daniel, for the summer (we also had an imaginary roommate we named Carlos). Living on your own for the first time can be an adventure, so I recorded the adventures and am now sharing them on Gather. All these adventures are absolutely true (except for the parts I make up). Read the adventure that started it all.
One evening Nathan and I decided to make brownies. One of the necessary components was 1/4 cup vegetable oil. We realized after we had already started making the brownies that we did not have vegetable oil.
We did have a can of PAM Cooking Spray. The can said 100% Olive Oil on it. Being the ingenious bachelors that we were, we sprayed the cooking spray into the 1/4 cup for several minutes. Finally, the cup was full and the kitchen was filled with so many fumes that we were breathing PAM.
I am happy to report that the brownies tasted wonderful. The kitchen smelled like PAM for a few days though.
