Eternity's Mansions rise

from leader's fecundate cries

on opposite sides of great divides

they subside

 

airy temples of light

rules for guiding plights

honesty, integrity, loyalty, compassion

more than transitory fashion

these shores of lore abhor

their doppelganger

 

dark mausoleum's store

releasing shadowen's spore

selfishness, apathy, distraction

lust and greed, thoughtless action

righteous jeers ignored for fears

claim panaceas

 

An eternity's mansion rises

from middle class surmises

gadgetry giving easy existing

moral homogenized giggling

the gods' pandemic

Almost like Coolridge 'Ozymandius' - the sharp edge of the poem doesn't come off as 'ranting' it feels as if the reader is suck in the quicksand of life itself. I especially like this because it rings of truth to me and feels close to my own personal ideas on this topic.
