 <hr width="100%" color="#eeeeee" noshade size="1">I told you all a little while ago about my book "Basket of Rain".  Valerie said that the name intrigued her so I thought I would set you all a task.  What thoughts are conjured up by this name?  Why do you suppose I called my book that?  I look forward to divers reasonings.  Enjoy the exercise and have fun.

Basket of Rain to me says the pain along with the flowers...... Maybe more rain (tears).

Basket of rain . . . either to gather or to distribute . . . as baskets go, they are leaky, contrived for the stable, dry goods. However, there are adventures which catch us unaware, whereby baskets can double as protection FROM rain, covering one's head, or in a pinch, dipped into a stream to carry remnants to a party parched with thirst. A basket of rain is vastly different from a basket FOR rain, or FROM rain . . . assuming that it holds memories of a storm once passed. Am I close?
