Where lie eternity's mansions?
Do they loom within the nuclei of atoms?
Unchanged while civilizations die?
Even 4.5 billion rings around the sun
Is not eternity.
Or is it,
For this world of lives so short?

Life is short, sadder is many wish it shorter.
Ho Ho have a good day.

There is also the "gamma ray burst" effect from supernova collapsors that astrophysicists are studying, which could blows like a wind of angelic death through our galaxy destroying all we have built up, as if programmed into the universe as a periodic cleansing.
I loved reading your the terrifying article about the steel piercing shells that are coated to bunker bust, astro, as well. And the informational article on radiation constants. I like the way you combined fact, speculation and insightful questioning in this astro burst of splendid verse!
thanks for this great poem and keep up the excellent work! =)
Thanks for the thought-provoking responses, especially John and Tara. I can't take credit for the articles that I linked too, though. I just found them while I was looking for information on the half-life of the radioactive isotopes we're putting into bombs these days.
Now I am off to check your links.
