1) I am of Indian decent but was born in South Africa and now live in the US.
2) When I was little I thought all dogs were male and all cats were female.
3) I also used to think that if you ran out of money, you went to the bank and they just GAVE you more. I was very disappointed when I realized you had to put money in the bank first.
4) I hold my breath every time I pass a cemetery for fear of breathing in a ghost who plans on taking over my body. :)
5) I am fascinated by the sparkly nail polish that changes color when exposed to sunlight.
6) I want everyone to love me and get extremely hurt when someone shows that they don't.
7) I cry every time I watch The Lion King at the part where Mufasa dies.
8) I used to be obsessed with The X-Files and have a large collection of X-File stuff including videos, dvds, posters, comics, collector's cards, pins, etc.
9) I currently obsess over Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series.
10) I really, REALLY want a flying car like the ones in Back to the Future or The Fifth Element. I literally pray that I will have an opportunity to own one someday.

LOL. I don't think I have any issues surrounding sidewalks. Well maybe one. I try not to step on the cracks seeing as how I love my mother and wouldn't want her to break her back.

The Lion King is my all-time favorite disney movie!! and i cry when Mufasa dies, too...the music gets me every time.
also, the X-Files are the greatest thing since sliced bread!...other greats are Firefly, Earth 2, Voyager, Family Guy, and Futurama. :-D

I haven't heard the derivation, Zeehan before. I think is sounds nice though. You are right, a lot of what I said is very culture specific. I didn't think about that. My parents get a bunch of South Asian tv channels, one of which is MTV Desi. They play songs by Indian and British singers and often times they're in English but still don't make any sense to me so I know exactly where you're coming from. the cemetary.... i did that for the longest time... then i heard you were supposed to hold yourr breath until you were in front of a white house.... sometimes, that just took too long... and i couldnt do it. so i stopped altogether...
if you think the sparkly nail polish is cool, you ever see the kind you can peel off? its really cool. i used to paint my nails, just so i could peel it off.
Making up for that now though, with Stargate :P
I also used to lift my legs off the floor and touch a screw when riding over railroad tracks. I gave that up when I started driving - too hard to do and still stear.

As for the flying cars, ancient Indian scriptures claim such things once exited. They also say that time is cyclical. So perhaps your dream has been true and wil come true again. ps what is "wheel of time" series !
