The Great Writers: Mark Twain

I have mostly profiled great scientists, but I also admire great writers, including Mark Twain. Darwin was a great science writer, but Twain (Samuel Clemens) was a comedy writer and a fiction writer.

Huckleberry Finn was a character created by Twain. Tom Sawyer was another character created by Twain. The magic of these books, to me, is that they depicted 19th century life near and on the Mississippi river.
