I've been away for a few days, visiting my daughter and granddaughter. They live not far from Stonehenge in a tiny cottage with a stream running by one side of a triangular shaped garden. I spent a lot of my time sitting in the sunshine, letting Haiku float lazily through my brain. This morning, I bid "farewell" to Emma and Billie and drove over 200 miles, first to Canterbury to see Mimi in the hospital (she's holding on) and then home, to you my fellow gatherers and to write down all those haiku I "wrote" as my little yellow car ate up the miles. Tomorrow I shall publish some more but here's one for now -
Once More
Spring is here again,
Trees, grass, shrubs newly alive
And I am too tired.

I don't get Haikus
But I'm glad you are back here
And I read them all
