A Friends Love

You are a special blessing,

From heaven up above,

Your arms a gentle haven,

Your gift is one of love.

 

You're always there to comfort,

You hold me when I fall,

You are my great supporter,

And come when'ere I call.

 

You show God's love in action,

In every place you go,

No matter who the person,

Be they friend or even foe.

 

You are a great example,

You really seem to care,

So thanks for always helping,

Your gift of love is rare.

 

Bless you for always sharing,

For grace in all you do,

For selfless giving of your time,

You are just one of few.

 

May God's love shine upon you,

My dear and special friend,

I pray you'll know His great love,

Right up and to the end.

 

God's precious gift of friendship,

Is most special to each one,

But most of all His loving,

Can never be outdone.

Thanks Emil. I really stumble over my thoughts and words as well, and can't help feeling they aren't good enough . Some days things seem to come ok, while others I just can't seem to find the words to write anything.
