Anorexia Nervosa

  This is Nicole Richie, who was a very beautiful model until she turned anorexic. She is now dancing with death. In anorexia the patient starves herself to death under the delusion that she is fat. This is an affective disorder that is a form of obessive-compulsive disorder. In bulimia, another eating disorder, the patient can eat themselves to death.

  In my opinion she needs a stint in a mental hospital. This is for her own good. Psychotherapy is used as a treatment.

I feel that she needs hospitalization. This could be in a psychiatric ward of a hospital. Just telling her to eat won't work. I think she needs to be scared into eating. She could die from malnutrition. I am not against mental hospitals, which used to be called asylums. I feel that they should be improved rather than being shut down. Unfortunately there are also many others with this same disease, mostly women. Some were once very beautiful.

The latest is that she is now 86 lbs.
