This put me in the mood for the Algarve beaches of Portugal, I leave right after Holy Week here in a city of solemn worshipped statues....I like the way all three of these verses balance, and the sonic unity you find through consonance--seagulls, surfers, sunlight. The alliteration of "waiting for a wave" works, too. So much you've done in so little!
