In response to Governor Mike Rounds' signing of the anit-abortion bill, HB1215, Cecilia Fire Thunder replied, "To me, it is now a question of sovereignty. I will personally establish a Planned Parenthood clinic on my own land, which is within the boundaries of the Pine Ridge Reservation where the state of South Dakota has absolutely no jurisdiction."

Well, fantastic! This is reason to call Ms Fire Thunder Saint Cecilia in this writer's opinion. Better yet, Saint Fire Thunder! Yeah!
When will stodgey white men with no concept (pun intended) of womanhood or anything outside their cushy pencil pushing self serving positions of perceived power stop? We must not allow these men to dictate to us our morality. We must not allow them power over our choices.
You go, Cecilia! We're watching, and we're proud!

Enclose a letter voicing your support and explaining the purpose of the donation. Bear in mind, the Pine Ridge Res is not exactly dripping with disposeable income, so do consider donating funds directly to the tribe as well as specifically for this effort.
The Great White Father in Washington had better watch his ass....
Thanks for posting those addresses, Cathy. I think I'll be sending them a check, albeit a modest one, finances being what they are.
I think anyone who wants an end to the abortion debate must realize it first need to continue, and that's not going to happen until the Supreme Court fiat on the matter is ended.
How many people have read Roe v. Wade? Anyone know what Constitution it was based on?
