Let's rip up the floor
I must be going crazy
What a mess we made
Layers of tile
Our backs and shoulders aching
1 layer to go
Is that pine I see?
Long blonde planks, what a relief
Must get to sanding
Let's rip up the floor
What the hell was I thinking?
What a mess we made.

*Our dog Kira in our kitchen.(she isn't deformed, she just stuck her tongue out when I took the picture ;-)

June,, money? HA! We always go head long into prjects with no money! To rip up the floor only cost 40$ for 2 crow bars, some gloves and a box of construction bags ;-)
Fortunately pay day is coming.
at least, (you got lucky), you found something you COULD sand, not someting rotting that was covered up!
also if you are going to do much of this you need a short GAS powered chain saw.. why you ask??? so that trhe first time you cut thru a wall and blow the power out, you can finish the job!
enjoy..
(OH! also it's so much fun to watch the neighbors when you fire that thing up on the patio and head inside to 'adjust' the lving room!).
:)
Please don't even say that thing about the next owners sticking down tile... AHHHHH!!!!!!!!!
Well, at least you have Kira to help, heh?
fortunately I belive in simplicity... the demolotion is actually the hard part here. I am hoping to keep the rest of the project simple. Yeah, right who am I kidding! LOL!
But I get to move. Into a place with new, beautiful floors! Squeeee!
I've just never been enough of a masochist to take pictures.
I think the visualizing your ex-husband's face thing just might be fodder for an upcoming "Ask Dr. Funny Guy."
BTW, nice haiku.
