An Evil Worse than George Bush

I know there are a lot of Bush haters out there.  Many think he's evil incarnate, but let me tell you....he's not!  Not compared to my wife. 

Yes, I said wife..not Ex-wife, but my little honey bun.  Let me explain.  First, I love my wife....she's my whole life.  But you know what she does each morning before leaving for work?

She starts humming or singing a song that she knows will get stuck in my head.  Today it was:

Where or where, are you tonight?
How could you leave me, here all alone?
I searched the world over and thought I found true, love....
But she met another and pppbbbtt she was gone!

Of course, right before she went out the door she laughed her evil laugh, as she heard me singing the Hee Haw song from on the toilet in the bathroom.  She does this every morning.  If that isn't evil, I don't know what is!

Well, I saw the first paragraph of the article in the synopsis and though "Oh, I've got to read this one. This is one brave dead man". But, reading the whole article, I realized you were just telling the truth and not even your wife would deny it.

I used to do this to my wife also (may I burn in hell). My favorite, from Cabaret:

She is evil, I will tell you that. My fiance does the same thing, there is a website with a song on it that goes, "Oh my word this tuen is annoying" and keeps going, and for some reason, it does get stuck in your head. Better idea, find a song and sing it when she is around, and therefore, it will get stuck in her head! HEHEHEHEHE - Evil laugh of revenge!

Ha! Tony hit the nail on the head with his comment. This "annoying tune" game happens in my house, too. Do you find that once the little ditty is let out into the open air and your loved ones ears, it has amazingly escaped the trap of your own brain?

Some of the worst for me are theme songs from both "The Adams Family" and "Batman" and the television tune for National American University. "One day, one night, Saturday's al-right..."

Son-of-a-gun, but isn't the world wierd? It so turns out that the Hee Haw tune is the same tune stuck in Dubya's head when he gets that glazed over look at a press conference. He finds it a consternatitorial moment.

I thought it was:

I am not Irish but recall playing this tune on the piano when I was about five.

Heheh, that is so something I would do. But, my husband rarely falls for it. He tends to get revenge by talking hockey. We also work in the same office, so things like that could bite me in the butt pretty quick...

On a more serious note. My wife and I were not only singing the Hee Haw song, but we were talking about how much we wanted to go see Buck Owens before he died. Well, it's too late. Apparently he died today. He was 76. Sigh.... A sad day for country music. :(
