There are three types of politicians:
1)Those who lie, cheat, and steal so they can stay in power because they want to do what is good.
2)Those who lie, cheat, and steal so they can stay in power because they want to have what is good.
3)Those who lie, cheat, and steal so they can stay in power because their power is what is good.
Anybody think they can make the case for some politician that doesn't fit in any of these categories?
If you were going to be cynical enough to believe these were your choices, which would you prefer?
Me, I would prefer type 2. I'd rather have a chance to buy a politician than risk being 'saved' by one.
