Saturday's Dawn

The morning rays of Saturday
Stream through my window pane
Annointing me in golden glow
Etherial champaign

From perfume bath I rise and smile
Steam mingling with the light
A ghostly dance on shining skin
Sweet gift from water sprite

I step into a cloud of smoke
Sweet lavender with sage
And breathe the breath of holiness
Passed on from ancient mage

At once my body spirals up
I'm weightless flying free
In heightened senses I commune
With daybreak Deity

We speak of life well lived in love
Now singing timeless song
Heartbeat of Mother Earth keeps time
Glad spirits sing along

We bide our time in harmony
Aligning with the One
I'm part of all is part of me
Under this new day's sun

Now walking just above the ground
Each step alive in bliss
My soul lives light under the spell
Of morning's magic kiss
