A Kansas-based church has been frequently protesting at soldiers' funerals around the country to further their nasty agenda.
Their protests have nothing to do with the dead soldiers, they simply show up and spew forth upsetting diatribe at the funerals.
My riding club and many other people have joined a group called the Patriot Guard Riders, who are invited to funerals to shield the family from these protests, and to do honor to our fallen.
Doesn't matter whether you are pro- or anti-war, Democrat or Republican, conservative or liberal, grieving families need to grieve without having the additional pain of insensitive, intolerant protesters making use of the family's hardship and sorrow for their own gain.

Having to resort to funeral protests to make your point heard indicates you don't have much to say and when heard, it needs to be drowned out by exhaust pipes. Everyone deserves a quiet funeral.
