Snow falls like powdered sugar through a sieve
caking the roadway and field
My tongue delights with each flake's melting
I try to keep up with the falling bliss as I
clean car windows, but they are covered again even
Before I finish!
I smile at the moonlit sky
climb into my silent carriage and drive into the night
Tires crunching as I behold the
Vision before me,
So many glowing stars flying right at me
this
Snow
which falls like powdered sugar through a sieve
caking the roadway and field

I almost got the feeling of this being a little Christmas song or poem, something that would be read on television in connection with little cartoon characters running about. I'd flesh it out more and maybe give it more of a timeless, classic sense so that it could fit in anywhere.
Good job.

Rick, Thanks for your suggestions! I'm so tired, such a sleepless night, (but worth the view). I'll come back to this with refreshed eyes.
Peace, All!
I'm pretty sure we got the same storm. Gorgeous.
d.m. I always eat the clean fresh snow, but never on a peppermint pattie, YET.
