I'm surrounded by diamonds
The bright sun catches each facet
Brilliant glitter casting
Rainbows into my eyes
Which I do not shield.
In blue white glow of winter's morn
I scoop the gems and taste,
Lolling them on my tongue till they melt
Cooly down my throat
Life's sustaining flow.
That lovely crunch of snow
Soundtrack to my day
Carries me along with
Diamonds in my eyes
Tasty gems of life
Mouth cleansed and ready.

thanks for sharing them they make a heady grog.
It's already in the 80's here, which means it should be in the 150's this summer. I'll have to tag this for a "serenity now" when the soles of our shoes start to melt on the sidewalk...
Beautiful - as always! ;)
As far as I'm concerned, you are all diamonds!
Gisela, OUCH! I long for the sun burning my feet....... remember tar bubbles?
