Part I
I hear
not see
the angry crowds
of protesters
burning flags
stoning sacred
places
of
others.
It's never about this
or that
never about anything
but
the reason for rage:
a deep discontent,
a lack of harmony
a lack of love
in the lives
of those
who rage
and want to destroy
what represents
the other.
If you are happy
with yourself
you do not see
in the mirror
hate
but what the world
reflects back
is what you are.
if you are full of hate
you see just that.
Part II:
The swiss policemen
coming to restrain
a man in rage
he has excuses
for his rage:
his wife did not
buy him head ache pills.
He has a reason for
his rage towards
his children
they do not behave well
at the table
but the reason for his
rage is that the world
reflects back
what he gives the world
the hate
the discontent
the loneliness
of the unloved
who can not love
but hate
comes naturally
and thus his
rage.
Part III.
Politically speaking
there is always someone
who is the reason for the rage
a caricature
after so many caricatures
of others
published in the official newspapers
but one
caricature against the holy of the holy¨
and there is rage.
It is alright to deface
to mock the other's culture
and to burn other flags
and burn other homes
but the universal rule
according to which
you get what
you put into this world
and the small abused
unloved child
is in rage:
that can not be!
It is a power struggle
the people who are used
to behead
mutilate
execute
will not accept
a slap in the face.
part IV
I want to say:
stop the world
i want to get off!
have wanted for years
to get off this overpopulated
planet
and find a place of peace
somewhere in space
but it seems there is
no life on the moon
and i love the deep oceans
and their colorful fish
despite the sharks
as well as trees and birds
and woods
and dogs
and even
cats
on a good day
and the children
that take so much
and make of lumps of clay
human beings
with soul.
and yes,
the hope one day
the rage will be gone
and in its place
another king will rule:
the impossibilty of human love
may be possible
one day
as we send into the universe
seeds of love.
but final remaining question
for tonight:
how can you give love
if you don't get it
at home?
How can a creator
have abandoned
the children
to search for love
in the desert?
The mysteries of the universe
will remain
as such
and meanwhile
the scream of the figure
crossing the bridge
will remain silent
to those who will not hear.
