This pictures were Feb. 3, 2006 (this afternoon) at the Ludington, Mi , beach. I hope you can see the great sign on the left of the seagulls on the posts which reads "no overnight camping". And the picture with the cliffs, has pussy willows (on the left) actually blooming this afternoon!
Seagulls at the Beach
Some say the seagull is a rat with wings
Never mind they clean up the beach
Their wings held motionless gliding down
They sit just out of reach of the lapping waves

Screaming as they land
Again as they rise together
Motionless on the moored dock posts
Facing the windblown sand

Little three-prongs tracks left behind
Splattered white droppings not to step in
