and my friends

some space

in your bed

i could not be

happier-

how crazy is that?

but as time passed

and children

came to

the world

we built

i realized

there is no

roof

or floor

where were

the walls?

one day i woke up

and saw

there was no

house

or home

and what

came between us

was not

the children

or money

or boredom

but we

we came between

us

because we were

all of the sudden

real people

and not just

postcards

or love letters

or phone calls

so it was finally

we that came

in between

us.
