Still catching up on posting the family pics...
This year AB and his Dad paired up in matching driving suits, for Alex's first trick-or-treating experience.
Dad's suit is the realy thing, and Alex received his as a gift from a friend of Tim's in the racing community. It is made from a pair of plain gray footie pajamas, and hand painted to match.
Note the personalized touches - his name on the left front. The bottoms of the feet crack me up the most: on one is a green "Go" and the other a red "Stop" to teach him which foot is for the brakes and which for the accelarator.
No pressure, Alex, but don't you want to be a race car driver when you grow up???
AB also did a wee bit of trick-or-treating. Tim took him across the street in the rain to meet the nice old German lady and her little dog. She thought he was just the
cutest thing and loaded him up with candy. There were no other trick or treaters in site, so AB could have really cleaned house - if not for his bed time.
But don't worry, the candy did not go to waste. Even if AB is a bit too young for candy himself, his Dad and I "took one for the team" and ate it for him.
(Parenthood can be hell sometimes...)
But don't feel too bad for the deprived child. He also experiences his first piece of chocoloate cake. This very much met with his approval, as evidenced by his face, hair and teeth in the photo.
A child after my own heart!
