My poor family! I realized we have not posted pictures of Alex since the July trip to Wisconsin. Such a shame to have such a good looking kid and not post pictures of him...
For the new readers, my son Alex is your typical toddler, excellent genes aside. He is what we call an Iripino - half Irish, half Filipino.
At the time of thse photos, AB (Tim and I use his initials in referring to Alex to save some key strokes, but also because our hero, Alton Brown of Good Eats, also goes by AB) is 22 months old. Very self-sufficient as an eater, but still VERY messy!

AB is also a very typical boy in that he loves his trucks, trains, and other automobiles. Here he is enjoying the Little People garage play set that Uncle Jerry and Aunt Laurie gave him for his birthday last year.
He is so much fun at this age - a lot less fragile than he used to be, and fun to horseplay with.
Tim is also trying to turn him into a sports fan, as evidenced by the hockey outfit that he bought AB a year ago, and has been waiting impatiently for AB to grow into.

I finally had to put my foot down, ever so subtly, by slipping the hockey outfit into AB's "emergency" clothes at daycare. He can still wear it - but only as a last resort, and not at home!
Mommies are so sneaky...
