Why is it that as I post this picture of me, I hear the music from Psycho! Do not be afraid though, it is only little ol' me! You've often wondered (or maybe not) what I look like, and now, sadly, you know! It cannot be contained any longer . . . Here I am!

4. Piercing? none - I used to have my ears pierced but my left ear gets infected too easily, so they have now grown shut. Of course, the last time I had them pierced, my sister Pam was trying to remove the earring from my left ear, because of the infection, and accidentally pulled the whole earring through my ear. Pam to this day feels guilty about it, and you can understand my reluctance to try again.
5. What is the most recent movie you've seen in the theater? The Chronicles of Narnia - it was awesome and I highly recommend it.

7. Place of birth? Boone, North Carolina USA
8. Favorite foods? Cheese, Pasta, Chocolate, Mexican, Italian, Southern
9. Ever been to Africa? Nope, but did you see Bert Bigelow's pictures from his trip? Amazing!
10. Ever been toilet papering (rolling)? Never - I was a good girl.
11. Love someone so much it made you cry? Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! And hurt more than I ever thought possible.
12. Been in a car accident? Yes, I rolled my SUV on black ice, landed with the drivers side in the air. A state trooper just happened to be behind me and cut me out of my seatbelt. Praise God!
13. Croutons or bacon bits? Both, and some sunflower seeds, raisins, pineapple, and chick peas (or garbanzo beans on the west coast)!
14. Favorite day of the week? Sunday, because I go to church, relax with my husband, and generally have less stress.
15. Favorite Flower? Roses and tulips. I also love flowering trees. I love the springtime when the crepe myrtles, dogwoods, and cherry trees are in bloom, especially when their blossoms are blowing in the breeze like spring's snowflakes!
16. Favorite sport to watch? My husband cleaning the house. It turns me on! ROFL!!!!
17. Favorite drink? Hot cocoa with whipped cream on a cold winter day, Diet Pepsi with a little Dr. Pepper in it, virgin Pina Coladas, or a really good milkshake!
18. Favorite ice cream? Glacier Mint - crème de mint ice cream with mini peppermint patties and fudge sauce.
19. Disney or Warner Brothers? Definitely Disney, of course! That's why I love all those Louis Mongello articles about Disney World and other related things. My husband and I want to go to Disney World so much! We have a container to save change to go there, but we have a bad habit of dipping into the funds. Being a starving artist sucks sometimes!
20. Favorite fast food restaurant? Taco Bell
21. What color is your bedroom carpet? Green
22. How many times did you fail your driver's test? Gulp -- twice -- I hate driving!
23. Which store would you choose to Max out your credit card? The powers that be have become wise to not allow me store cards. However, if one did, I would have a field day at just about any craft store.
24. What do you do most often when you are bored? I find lately I am rarely bored because there is so much to read here at Gather. I spend way too much time here! I also love to crochet.
25. What time do you go to bed? Whenever I get tired, usually late or should I say early in the morning.
26. Favorite TV shows? Law & Order: SVU, Starting Over, The Apprentice, Food Network (Paula Deen is one of my fav's to watch), HGTV, Discovery Health,
27. Last person you went to dinner with? My husband Jeff. We went to Olive Garden. I love their salad!
28. What are you listening to right now? My ears ringing, the refrigerator running, the rain falling outside, the satellite box making clicking noises, my cat scratching herself and giving herself a rather noisy bath.
29. What is your favorite color? Purple and red, depending on the item. I like to wear red, but I like purple stuff.
30. How many tattoos do you have? 47 -- ha gotcha -- none!
31. How many pets do you have? 5 cats - 3 outside: Sylvester, Tigger, and Sandy. 2 inside: Patches and Carolina. But Carolina thinks she is a dog. She loves to play fetch. If you throw either a milk ring (the safety ring from a gallon of milk) or a straw, she will go after it and bring it back to you. If you say, "Where is it?" excitedly, she will meow at you and try to see if you have a "toy" in your hands. This is really cute, until it is 3 AM and Carolina has found one of the "toys," and decides to bring it to me. She will drop it beside me on the bed and meow; then she will start attacking it. Of course, when she drops it, it rolls and is now up against me so she is also attacking me. She does this also if I have been at the computer too long. She will drop a "toy" at my feat and start attacking it, or will flat out come and stand between the keyboard and me and insist it is playtime. She definitely thinks she is a dog. So does that mean we have 6 pets?

31. How many pets do you have? None. Growing up I had a French poodle named Micky, and I was devastated when she died. I also had a beautiful Golden Retriever/Collie mix named Kelly when I was first married and eventually had to give her up. Now I play step-mom to my son's Golden Lab, Jupiter, which he keeps at his dad's house. I am done with animals. It's hard enough to take care of myself and my kids!

10. Ever been toilet papering (rolling)? YES! In NYC this was not possible obviously and I never would have done it. But once, when I was 13 I was coerced into doing it and I felt terrible about it! While on a Thanksgiving trip to Boston to see mom's side of the family, my 14 year old male cousin took me out one night to see his friends. I thought that was cool but when it turned out it was a toilet rolling I was horrified! I was sooooooooooo scared.
11. Love someone so much it made you cry? Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! But I learned the lessons.

22. How many times did you fail your driver's test? Twice. I was so bad it was pathetic. The first two testers were so mean - one even made me cry. The guy who passed me on the third try I think felt sorry for me - I could drive well, but parking was not my forte. I hate driving though - especially here in NY and in snow! ACK! Talk about stress load...sheesh

24. What do you do most often when you are bored? I read, listen to music, hang out on line (Gather is my new "thing"), watch movies, nap
25. What time do you go to bed? During the week? Early, or relative to since I have to get up at 5:15. This means anywhere from 8-12 at night! Weekends? 12, 1, 2, 3 a.m. - depends on how involved I am with writing. I am actually a night owl but working full time at a hectic job forces me to go to bed early and get my rest - plus, at almost 51 I simply DON'T have the energy I used to have and I need my beauty sleep. Heck, I am a kid at heart, but I now have those wonderful middle aged aches and pains.

The crew consists (in age order, oldest first) of Chili Bean, Dinero Boo, Muffin, Checkers, Snowball, Spaz, Shadow Dancer and Ginger. They are my kids!
