Ever notice how that laugh is contagious from one end of life to the other
The toothless baby grinning in the stroller
The kindergartner giggling at the puppy in the school hall
The 9 year old boy convulsed at a farting joke
The two teenage girls howling over a childhood picture
The parents chortling at their two-year-old's antics
The whole class of 89 whooping at the graduation DVD
The long lost cousins tittering over Granny's false teeth back when
The break room gang guffawing over another Lena and Ole joke

The grandpa snickering at his grandson baiting his own hook
The old girls in the nursing home tittering about their first dates
The whole family chuckling at the stories of Uncle Will at the wake
Ever notice? Ever catch it? Ever pee your pants doing it?

we were watching a movie tonight - 'animals are beautiful people' - that movie about the desert animals - and we were all three laughing so hard. plus, angus the cat was pretty intent on the animals, too.
there's nothing like a laugh! thanks.
My 3 year old granddaughter instructed my pregnant daughter (her mom) not to have a baby boy because "we already have one" (her brother). When informed they already have a girl, which is her, she replied, "no, I'm not a baby!"
Oh the funny wisdom of children!
I also like the laughter that comes when you really want to cry because it saves you your sanity although it sometimes looks like you've lost.
Laughing at ourselves is the healthiest laugh
Indeed, laughter is the very best medicine, a truth I subscribe to. Your poem provokes memories of laughing!
Also, I want to thank you personally for your comments on my Sago Piece. The Quaker song is lovely.
I love to laugh, and I especially love laughing so hard, it makes you cry.
