My name is Monica and I am a recipe contest addict. Well, I guess there are worse things you could say about yourself than being a recipe contest addict, and this is one of the few addictions that you may actually win money from rather than lose. Well, honestly, I am sure most people spend more money coming up with the recipes than they will ever win in a contest, but it is a whole lot of fun and tasty too!
There is a lot of money out there to be won in these contests and you will never know if you have it in you unless you try! If you are interested in becoming a RCA - Recipe Contest Addict - below are a few contests to enter. If you are already an addict, and would like to share your addiction, post the contests you know about in the comments below along with any words of advice you have to offer.
Feel free to ask questions and whatnot and we can all try to help each other out. I hope that we all become winners! I'd be so proud to see any of us win! So come on now, get your thinking caps on and create some recipes!

Don't publish your recipe until after the contest is over -- that is the biggest rule! If the recipe has been published elsewhere it is generally not eligible. Good luck and have fun!

Anyway, Monica, get out there and win that KA mixer. You'll love it.
Inspired me to enter some, thanks! People should also check out the Build a Better Burger Contest.
I won second or thrid place and got an elaborate GE Microwave with several cookibooks. Not of real use to me. So, I called the local appliance store and asked if they'd make an even trade for a VCR, which I didn't have.
After that we always joked about watching movies on the microwave.
It really was nice to win. I may do this again. thanks for the inspiration.
