I have a new Gather Game for us to play! Okay, here's how this little game works. Whoever is heading up the game at the time tells two things that are true about them and one that is an absolute load of malarkey (a lie, in other words) -- BUT -- you do not indicate which are the truths and which is the load of malarkey. The first to correctly guess the load of malarkey gets to tell their own 2 truths and a load of malarkey (in their own article - give us the link in a comment here and tag your article "Malarkey" and "Gather Game." Or you can post here if you want.). I'll start us off (MY FAMILY & CLOSE FRIENDS CANNOT PLAY THIS ROUND – LOL YOU KNOW THE ANSWER!):
A. Passionate about my faith, as many of you know, I attended a bible college where I earned a degree in Youth and Family Ministry. I am currently working on an MDIV through an online Christian University. My goal is to become a women's ministry leader.
B. My family's ancestry was royal from Austria and there is still a palace in Austria that bears our last name (maiden name that is -- sorry - can't give you the name you internet savvy cheaters LOL). As you might guess from knowing me, LOL, the one famous Prince in the royal line was a tyrant.
C. My husband and I met online. He is from California and I am from North Carolina. We talked on the phone for 8+ hours a day for 7 months before I finally decided to quit my job, move across country and move in with him. Ten months later we were married at the registrar's office in Norwalk California. On our honeymoon in Buena Park, California, we had our pictures taken with George Burns.

Why thanks Ron, it is a work of art because I wish it A were true. I went to Western Carolina University where I majored in Family and Consumer Sciences, then realized only truly dedicated people can handle the public school system, and I was not one of them! (Family and Consumer Sciences is fancy for Home Economics). I am actually a few credits shy of a degree and life has gotten in the way of completing that. Once I complete my bachelors, I would like to get an MDiv to enhance my writing and to work in women's and family ministry.
B is true - the Palace Schwartzenberg is in Austria and the Tyrant Price was named Felix. My Aunt and Uncle once tried to tour the palace, but it is now a private residence and they did not seem to care if we were very distant relatives or not!
C is true - we did meet online and did talk for 8+ hours a day. Jeff called me using his computer when Dialpad.com was free in the US. The pictures with George Burns were taken at the Wax Museum in Buena Park. If I can get to a flat bed scanner I will scan them in sometime!
Great grandpa and grandma had a farm where the Kansas City MO court house now stands, and during hte war they had Southern leanings. They were jailed for "aiding the South" - we suspect aiding the Quantrill gang, but the details are a bit fuzzy.
