Fall Sceptre

What first struck the ancient rites,
And stopped all might of encrusted gods:
These Zeus only tread upon;

That parted all seas,
And spoiled the din
Of bloody rites of
Bloody sin--

Is now poised to strike our lands,
Which hands have quickened stone and
Wood, and shaped their lies.
