This is a good thanksgiving recipe for a couple people.Better than cooking a whole turkey if there are only two of you for dinner.Unless you like turkey sandwiches and leftovers for a week.

8 medium sweet potatoes,cut into 1/2 in slices
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup maple syrup(can use pancake syrup)
1/2 cup apple cider
2 tbsps butter
