When doing any craft with fabric, wash all the fabric you intend to use for your project before you start to cut or stitch it. This will ensure that the project will not distort and will remove any dressing . . .

A clean, unused pizza box make a great storage box for quilt blocks. Just stop by any pizza place and ask to buy a couple of boxes. Most places will give them too you.

Use a small piece of masking tape to mark your place when you stop quilting. That way, you can pick up your needle and begin again without wasting time looking for where you left off last.
