It took me 3 days, which isn't too bad at all. I have completed crocheting a shopping bag with plarn (plastic yarn).

This pretty bag reminds me of the colors of bananas and peanut butter

I made this bag by crocheting stripes of plastic shopping bags, and using like a yarn (plarn). The red stripe in the middle was made using the plastic wrapping from 9 one gallon milk containers.

I made "plarn" out of the plastic shopping bags. You cut them into strips, join them then crochet with it.

I made another tote for my shop from plastic bags (mostly bread bags) It's shinier than when I make them out of the plastic shopping bags, but a lot more work. I think I used about 50 to make this . . .

Here's another cute bag I crocheted mostly from clear plastic bags and the stripes are made with bread bags. It really gives it a unique look.
It's trimmed with plastic netting that looks like red fun . . .
