Last night my area had 1.7 inches of rain in a short time, about 2 hours. I haven't seen so much lightening or heard so much thunder in ages. Of course with rivers and creeks already above . . .

I am listening to the news now. The flooding is getting really bad north of us. About 20 miles upriver, they have already left thier homes. They are showing footage on TV that looks as bad . . .
