There are less of the large finches and White Crowned Sparrows now, but more Goldfinches. As always I have lots of English Sparrows and House Finches visiting year round. Not to mention the ravens. crows . . .

Watching the birds today I couldn't help but notice this Gold Finch with his brighter yellow head. Breeding Plumage here we come.

My mountain ash and apple trees are really pretty this time of year. With the fruit ripening and turning red I think it's just as pretty as in the spring when they both flower.
