Recommending

Recommending content on Gather
At the bottom of a post, photo, or video, just click "recommend this" to let everyone know that it's some of the best content you've seen. You can only recommend each post, photo, or video once, you cannot recommend your own content, and you cannot remove any recommendations.

Who can recommend
Registered Gather members can recommend content on Gather. Any member who's signed in to Gather and can see the content can recommend it. Members are not allowed to recommend their own work.

Removing recommendations
Currently, there is no way to remove recommendations.

Knowing who recommended my content
You can see who recommended content on any post, photo, or video page. You'll also see if your friends recommended content in your My Friends Feed on your My Gather page. You also have the option to receive email notifications when your content is recommended or when one of your friends recommends content. Each Gather member can only recommend each piece once.

Restricting recommendations
Any member who can view a piece of content can recommend it.
