When working with plastic canvas, keep an emery board handy for filing off nubs and rounding corners after you cut your canvas.

When doing plastic canvas, use a dry erase marker to mark your pattern. When finished cutting, take a napkin or kleenex and just rub it off.

Use a dry erase maker to mark your pattern on plastic canvas. Just wipe clean after you are finished cutting.

If you cut too far into a piece of plastic canvas, heat the end of a tapestry needle and touch it to the plastic just enough to melt the cut edges together.
