At the harbor in Santa Barbara, I started taking photos of the Bird of Paradise, they were entirely out in full bloom. The hummingbirds looked like they were in paradise.

I guess my Mexican Bird of Paradise isn't too upset with me for pruning it. It's putting out flowers like crazy! I cut it back about a month ago, took about 3 feet off it's height. . . .
